China's Stolen Children

I just watched a documentary last night on channel 4 about China's stolen children.

Children who are being stolen from off the streets or their bed or anywhere they can be stolen and sold to other families who wants a child.

This story has touch my heart and this is why I have started up this blog in order to do my bit to help Chen's parents find their son.

If you have any new or help please please contact Chen's parents on the link below

Help Find Chen Jie

Here is a small clip from the documentary about Chen Jie and his parents.

This website is also dedicated to the parents of Chen's parents and for people to help support them in times of need....so please feel free to give your support, wishes, and comments.

Thank You

I too watched that program on channel 4 and was very moved. The lack of commitment to this cause by the chinese goverment is pathetic. Please help find this little kid and stop this terrible trade in human life once and for all. We all live in a world where its getting worse and need to stand together no mater how big the challenge for this world to survive...Please help this family, I'm really gutted for them, If I could afford to help financially I would they really need it now. Tommy :(

As a father of two, I was shaking with emotion all the way through this unbelievably powerful programme. I couldn't help but contrast Chen Jie's plight with that of Madeleine McCann. If one fraction of the sound and fury generated by her disappearance was directed towards shaming the Chinese authorities into action, I'm pretty certain his incredibly brave parents would soon be reunited with their son. Their dignity was humbling beyond words. If it's a question of getting them money to start a new - illegal! - poster campaign or hiring someone with political clout to lobby in Beijing then I for one would put my hand in my pocket right now.

The whole situation about Chen Jie makes me ache. Imagine being his parents and having to live in the same apartment block as the man who in all likelihood abducted and sold your child. Imagine knowing that the all-pervasive Chinese authorities will have noted a five year old child popping up from nowhere and yet still not being able to get these same authorities to bring him back to you. My stomach renches and aches at the thought and he's not even my son. I have contribted some money to the charity mentioned by the production company. Chen Jie's parents are not wealthy and even travelling to the part of the country where they suspect Chen Jie has been taken will be difficult for them. I hope my little contribution will help a bit. Pounds go a lot further in China than they do here. Also, I have submitted an epetition to the goverment here via the Downing Street website. Once this is approved by them I will let you all know and perhaps you can add your names. What can I say, we've got to do something.

Hi all. The epetition is now accepted by Downing Street. The link is here. http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/Chinachildren/
The petition will be live for 2 months after which the government will make a statement so please do add your names and encourage others to do the same. Many thanks.

I watched this programme earlier in the week on Sky and was absolutely appalled at how child trafficking is so widespread in China. My heart went out to Chen Jie's parents - I can't imgaine the pain they must be going through. Although I donated some money to COCOA, I just feel that more needs to be done. Is there a better way of getting money directly to his parents so that they have the resources to find Chen Jie?

Amit - well done for creating this website. It's really nice knowning that there's like-minded people out there.

Dawn - thanks for setting up the petition. I will sign up and circulate this to all my friends.

I have tears in my eyes writing this!! My heart aches for you both at the loss of your son!! I am a wife and mother of 6 children in the USA. My boys are 27, 22, 20, 15 and 2 and I have a daughter who is 8. I cried with you as I watched this movie last night. My thoughts and prayers have been with you ever since. I can only imagine the pain, and it hurts too much, and so your suffering is immeasurable!!!! I will make a donation, such a small thing... but I will also write to our president. This must stop!! China must face this and help must come for you and all parents!!! This is a horror and a shame for China!!! God must be so sad at this evil done by bad people.

Anyway, I hurt for you and I will pray everyday for the rest of my life begging Jesus, His holy mother Mary, and all the saints of Heaven to help you get Chen Jie back!! Never lose hope!!! Don't give up!!! Try to find joy in God's love for you and keep going for Chen Jie!!!! You will be rewarded for your faith and courage!

God bless you!!!!
I send my love and prayers

Child trafficking must be one of the most horrific crimes. I'm in the US and just saw the documentary on HBO and burned it to DVD to copy and share with friends as we need to make others aware of what is going on. Policies need to change!

Someone needs to find this cutie... I pray his parents find him and bring him home.

I wish they could update us viewing public on this. I wonder if the parents know how many people have their back on this.

I'd drop everything just to go help find this boy.

I just saw the HBO special documentary on China's stolen children. It infuriated me that a government that would ignore the problem and instead focus police on enforcing absurd laws to quiet the suffering parents of these poor children.

It saddens me that Chen Jie's parents feel so helpless. I would love to get in touch with them somehow and send them money, money seems to have a louder voice then victims. Hu Jintao and the rest of China's government should be ashamed of themselves.
